Spend early and often - Don't hoard; keep them flowing  Let players remind you - If they want that Chaos spent on them, do it  Balance the flow - If too much Chaos accumulates, spend it! Starting the Pool: The Fate Pool represents the ebb and flow of fortune. It's a pile of tokens with two sides: Law (good) and Chaos (bad).  Each session begins by building the pool:  Each PC rolls Miracles (even if untrained - just WIS)  Success: Add a Law token  Failure: Add a Chaos token Using Chaos Tokens (GM Spends): You can flip a Chaos token to Law for:  Give enemy Advantage on any roll  Activate a trap or hazard  Escalate - Add another enemy or complication  Twist - "The door locks behind you!"  Drain - One PC loses/destroys 1 item of inventory at random (their pack tears) Using Law Tokens (Players Spend): Players can flip a Law token to Chaos for:  Gain Advantage on any roll  Reroll any die for TWO Law tokens  Recover one Hit Die immediately  Add a detail - "There's a chandelier I can swing from!"
