Procedure for Making an Attack: 1. Use your Brawling, Melee or Ranged skill 2. Subtract your foe’s Hit Dice (HD) 3. Roll d20 equal to or under the modified Skill score 4. If successful, deal damage = whatever you rolled + weapon bonus 5. Fortune (1) = 20 damage, can't be defended 6. Folly (20) = miss and something bad happens Weapon Damage Bonus Listing: Small (dagger, club): +1 damage  Medium (sword, axe): +2 damage  Large (greatsword, maul): +4 damage (two-handed) Weapon Damage Bonuses: Weapons add a flat damage amount to your rolled Effort.
