1. Use your Brawling, Melee or Ranged skill
  2. Subtract your foe’s Hit Dice (HD)
  3. Roll d20 equal to or under the modified Skill score
  4. If successful, deal damage = whatever you rolled + weapon bonus
  5. Fortune (1) = 20 damage, can’t be defended
  6. Folly (20) = miss and something bad happens
