Procedure: The character making the main action is called the lead.  If an ally can provide a meaningful, in-character reason for helping the lead, the first helper automatically grants the acting character Advantage on their roll. The GM should determine if the assistance is truly helpful. Additional Helpers: Additional helpers make the skill check on their own, simultaneously with the lead, and on success, add +3 Effort each to the lead character’s Effort (if the lead succeeds). Cost of Assisting: The cost for any assisting character(s) is that they spend their action for the round.

Unlike D&D 5e's Help action which only grants advantage, or OSE's lack of formalized assistance rules, CRAWL! provides a structured system where the first helper grants Advantage and additional helpers can meaningfully contribute.
