Advantage Procedure: Roll two d20s  Use the better result for your purposes  Examples: High ground, quality tools, perfect lighting Disadvantage Procedure: Roll two d20s  Use the worse result for your purposes  Examples: Darkness, injury, improvised tools When To Use Advantage and Disadvantage: Sometimes circumstances help or hinder your efforts. CRAWL! avoids fiddly modifiers, instead using Advantages and Disadvantages.  When conditions work against you, you roll with Disadvantage.  When circumstances favor you, roll with Advantage.  Only one Advantage or Disadvantage applies at a time - they cancel each other out if both would apply.
